Hey there! I’m Michelle, the red shoe obsessed owner and lead planner for Red Heels Events. I have been planning, designing and coordinating weddings and events since 2005. Party planning has been in my blood since high school but when I assisted a friend with her wedding for the first time, I was hooked! Being a wedding planner is only one of my many hats, some others are: Wife, Mom, and Crazy Cat Lady.
WE LOVE ALL THINGS PREPPY, CLASSIC & COLORFUL
OUR FAVORITE THINGS
Hi! I'm Megan, an Event Specialist with Red Heels Events. I've been working for RHE for 4 years and also have over 7 years of corporate event planning/execution experience. My day job involves planning corporate customer visits for Steelcase. I enjoy both realms of event planning - the chaos and problem solving is what keeps things exciting! I also love working with a supportive and fun team filled with great ideas and expertise.
Nothing is better than exploring new parts of this amazing world! Some of our favorite destinations have been: England, Hawaii, Mexico and Maine. On our bucket lists? Greece, Italy, Australia, Iceland and any of the 50 states we have not visited yet!
Nothing is more comforting than a REALLY good cup of coffee. A hot Caramel Latte on a cold day or an Iced Mocha on a hot day.... perfection!
We love cheerful bold colors. In flowers, balloons, decor.....and shoes!! Walking into a Kate Spade store is like heaven to all of our senses!
College football, autumn leaves, apple picking, the smell of the crisp Fall air....could there be a more perfect time in Michigan? We think not.
Every wedding should be unique and by building a more personal relationship with you we are more equipped to find you the perfect venues and vendors for your taste and style. We want to help you create the perfect vendor team for your day and will take our role as Team Captain very seriously to ensure that all your plans come to life.
In a way we become your fairy godmothers - coming in and making your dreams come true...then disappearing at midnight!
At Red Heels we take a more “boutique” approach to our business. We limit the amount of events we assist with each season so that we can focus more on each couple. We never want someone to feel like a number.
Our philosophy and first priority to get is to know you on a personal level so that we can incorporate your personality and interests into every aspect of the big day. A favorite part of our job is building relationships with our clients and their families. Planning a wedding is such an intimate time and we want them to be comfortable with our part of that process.
